INCLEMENT WEATHER UPDATE
Allied Waste/Republic Services - Friday, January 20, 2012
- The following is a list of recycle, yard waste and garbage collection updates
for cities and areas in Puget Sound:
- North King County (Bellevue, Medina, Clyde Hill, Beaux Arts, Hunts Point, Yarrow
Point, Mercer Island, North Bend, Snoqualmie, Sammamish, Issaquah, Lake Forest
Park, Kenmore/Unincorporated Areas of King County): Residential collection of
recycle, yard waste and garbage is suspended today due to inclement weather;
critical commercial accounts will be serviced on a limited basis. Residents who
are missed due to inclement weather, whose normal collection day is Friday
(today), may put up to double the load out on their next regularly scheduled
collection day.
- South King County (Kent, SeaTac, Tukwila, Normandy Park, Covington, Auburn,
Renton, Unincorporated Areas of King County): Residential collection of recycle,
yard waste and garbage is suspended today due to inclement weather; critical
commercial accounts will be serviced on a limited basis. Residents who are
missed due to inclement weather, whose normal collection day is Friday (today)
may put up to double the load out on their next regularly scheduled collection
day.
- Seattle: Offices and recycle facility are closed but MRF scale is open; very limited commercial routes are running today. Black River Recycling Center & Transfer Station is closed today.
- Snohomish County (Lynnwood, Edmonds, Monroe, Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Sultan,
Gold Bar, Index and Unincorporated Areas of Snohomish County): Residential
services are suspended today due to inclement weather. Some commercial accounts
will be serviced today on a limited basis. Residents who are missed due to
inclement weather, whose normal collection day is Friday (today) may put up to
double the load out on their next regularly scheduled collection day.
- Anacortes: Normal services are operating today.
NOTE: Allied Waste/Republic Services is committed to safety. During
inclement weather, we evaluate the weather each day and make a decision about
whether or not to run routes based on public safety and the safety of its
drivers. Please check our websites for further updates regarding your
recycle/yard waste/garbage collection service during inclement weather today and
throughout the week. During inclement weather, Allied Waste/Republic Services
also sends collection service updates through the Regional Public Information
