Expanded Recycling Program
- Clothing and Linens can now be recycled - check with your property manager to find out if your multi-family complex participates in the Expanded Recycling Program.
- If your complex participates, your property manager will tell you where and when to place your clothing and linens.
- Items will need to be bagged, labeled and set out where your property manager says to place them.
Do not put clothing and linens in the Blue Recycling Container. They must be collected separately.
Clothing and Linen Recycling Instructions
- Must be clean, dry, non-moldy and usable
- Place in a securely closed plastic bag clearly marked "Clothing"
- Placed where your property manager says to place them

Following are examples of items that can be recycled:
- Accessories: scarves, hats and belts
- Blankets and bedspreads
- Clothing
- Draperies and curtains
- Linens: sheets, towels and tablecloths
- Paired leather or canvas shoes (rubber band or tie together)
- Purses, backpacks, totes and wallets
- Stuffed animals

Do not recycle the following items:
- Shoes with sharp heels, skates or slippers
- Mattresses
