Place these items in the Recycling Container
|
Paper

Paper, junk mail, computer and copy paper,
catalogs, envelopes (windows ok), magazines,
newspaper, ream wrappers, telephone books,
paper boxes with liners, gift wrap
without foil or ribbon.
- Cardboard (flattened)

Plastic or poly-coated paper drink boxes
(soy and juice, rinsed), frozen food boxes
(clean), milk cartons (rinsed), juice
cartons and ice cream cartons (flattened
and no lids)*

Plastics
- All plastic bottles and containers (lids removed)
|

Metals
- Aluminum cans (rinsed)
- Tin cans (rinsed and labels
removed)

Glass
- Bottles and jars (rinsed, no lids)
|
| * Not sure if a carton or box is poly-coated or plastic-coated? Use the scratch and tear test. If you scratch it and see wax, throw it into the Garbage. If you tear it and see a thin layer of plastic-coated paper, rinse, flatten and recycle!
