Holiday Schedule Changes
Collection is provided on all holidays except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. If your service day fall on or after one of these holidays, collection will be one day later that week.
Bad Weather or Emergency Service Changes
If weather conditions, or other emergencies, prevent safe collection, collection will resume as soon as conditions permit safe collection. Collections may be delayed by one day, or a double load will be collected on the next regularly scheduled service day, for no additional charge.
Medical Waste
! Medical needles or "sharps" if placed in the garbage, must be contained in a rigid puncture-proof container less than 1-gallon in size. Empty 2-liter pop bottles or 1-gallon milk jugs are acceptable when capped, taped and labeled "Do Not Recycle."
Other Medical Wastes require special handling and CANNOT be placed in the garbage. Call the Business Waste Line at 206-296-3976 or visit the Business Hazardous Waste website for proper disposal information.
