Multi-Family Property Managers and Owners
Property managers and owners of multi-family complexes typically have direct control of the garbage and recycling services for the complex. While the garbage and recycling is residential in nature, the service provided is commercial.
Multi-Family Residents
Multi-Family residents typically do not have the decision-making ability for their garbage and recycling services, and need to talk to their property manager or owner for service-related questions and desired changes.

Collection information
- Collection Schedules are different for each multi-family complex and are determined by the complex's garbage and recycling volumes. Call 206-652-8832 or email us for questions regarding your complex's collection schedule.
- Missed pick-ups should be reported immediately:

- Bad weather or emergencies sometimes prevent the safe collection of containers. Generally, trucks do not run when Tukwila schools are closed for bad weather. At these times, collection may be delayed until weather conditions improve.
- Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. If your weekly service day falls on or after one of these holidays, collection will be one day later. For example, if your scheduled collection day is Thursday, "Thanksgiving," your containers will be collected on Friday, and Friday customers will have their collection on Saturday.
Large and Bulky Items
- Allied Waste picks up large and bulky items, such as mattresses, appliances and furniture for a fee. To arrange a pick-up, call 206-652-8832.
